Inspiration is a magical thing.

It whisks you up when you least expect it.

I always used to have "mentors" and people I looked up to. But in the last couple years, I came to realize that I fell out of touch with that. I was really only looking internally, which is a grand and great thing to do! (Love yourself enough to dive into your own power!) But I was searching for someone to add that sparkle back into my life. Mind you, I wasn't looking too actively, just sort of in passing (which I think is a healthy approach, personally!). This week I found myself deeply entranced in an inspirational person for the first time in a long time. And my goodness it feels so delightful.

Someone who inspires you to be a better person,

to become the best version of yourself,

to be uniquely yourself.

It's almost as if inspiration clarifies what you're doing.

And right away you're like "ahhh, right! This is why i'm doing this! I thought I was crazy for a second."

If you're longing for inspiration in jumping into your work (which we all know I've been trying my best to do for the last few weeks. ... an update below) I highly suggest surrounding your mind and your day with people who inspire you!

And if you're having trouble finding that person (or persons), continue walking on your path as yourself— be true to yourself, and soon enough, you'll attract exactly what you're looking for! And most importantly, DON'T GIVE UP!

As I always say, the universe has your back. You're exactly where you're supposed to be. Believe in the universe. Your only job is not to resist your own path.

(life update on my whole "jumping back into my work thing"... it's actually   going pretty well! It's never an overnight shift. But the journey is well on   it's way. If you look at it from a positive perspective and take it one day at   a time, things move! Gradually but surely!)
